The Human Rights Law Centre of the University of Nottingham is organising for criminal justice professionals an exciting new course on Criminal Justice and Human Rights. The course examines in depth the UN and regional human rights standards that now govern the operation of national criminal justice systems.

The course is taught by leading UK criminal academics and criminal  justice practitioners, and includes visits to courts and a prison. Participants also attend criminal justice courses in the University of Nottingham School of Law LLM programme.

The course runs for ten weeks from January 6 2011. For further details, see www.nottingham.ac.uk/hrlc
